My name is Sean Pendergrass, I created Bird and Worm around 2003 or 2004, I can't remember which year. I had recently been laid off from Klasky Csupo where i worked as a Storyboard artist. I sent Bird and Worm to several syndicates and was rejected by all of them, So I bundled it up and stuffed it in a closet and got a job laying floors with my uncle and his disgusting partner Brian. My girlfriend and her mother urged me to enter it in Platinum studio's Comic book challenge. I lost the contest, but Platinum called a week later and offered to buy it, So I sold it and here we are. I now work at Renegade Studio's in Los Angeles doing storyboards for a show called "The Mr. Men Show" that will air on Cartoon Network and BBC 5 in the U.K.in January of 2008. My contract ran out a while back so i continue to do the strip because i like it. I'm currently writing a pilot for Bird and Worm and hope to have an Animatic to show around and see if Someone wants to see them animated. I also write and draw the strip "AHAB" but it is under the name SEAN P. I don't use the name I hate dirt because it belongs to platinum.
