Fan comics usually have very limited room for creativity because the characters and their world don't belong to us and their personalities are already established. But I enjoy drawing them and putting them into situations they don't usually face. It's like comics on training wheels-- limited use of creativity, but a fun learning experience.
I have big hopes on starting my own original comic series-- both web and in print. But I'm still a "little girl" in that sense. That can wait until after school and when I officially begin my career.
In the meantime, enjoy my training wheels!
