I am a 15 year old weirdo girl who goes to a ginormous high school.
My name's Amber, but I'd prefer that you call me Limzee. Reminds you of a name for a fox, or something, right? Heh, heh...well, originally it was a name for a faerie I'm writing about. Maybe I'll make my writing a comic. Idk. First I'm going to try and get AKAL on its feet and teach it to walk. And stuff....
I live in Michigan, where the whether is erratic and it rains a lot. Even in the summer! O-O That's okay, though, because I love the rain and the cold. Heat makes me uncomfortable, and I'm almost always wearing a hoodie or a sweater. It's gotten to where my arms feel weird when they're exposed. Plus, if I don't wear long-sleeves, I might accidentally touch someone, and I dislike physical contact. I know. Weird. That's just how I am. I'm weird.
I love horror movies, and shows. I'm a big fan of Jhonen Vasquez and Roman Dirge. Gothic-style artists like that. Though, I'm not really a 'goth.' I just wear black most of the time. If I'm not wearing black, I'm wearing Michigan hoodies/sweaters or stripes. Ah, stripes....
My first style for comics was something of a mixture between an anime, Creg McCrackin, and Jhonen Vasquez ztyle. I liked it for a while, and whenever I doodle I still use it, but I like the chibi style better. Plus, it's more MY OWN style. Not a mixture of others' styles. My first comic was named Klu: a comic by Amber Barnes. I only did a few comics before I got bored, and then stopped. It was basically the same way this one is done, only Klu wasn't really modeled after me, and she was a zombie. I did about six comics with her before I got bored and moved on.
My other comic is one I do for my own and my friend's amusement in my planner. It's a very tiny one that has to fit in these tiny rectangles, and it's called IZ overload. It's based off of my obsession with Invader Zim, though it's strayed from the original purpose. It's about me, how I have insomnia a lot, and my emotions about school. However, two comics ago I turned it into a fantasy about me meeting a dragon named Mira (from a story I'm working on) so it's no longer based on real life.
I also play the trumpet, and doodle random pictures. Such as a demon Santa, and my dragon, Mira. I might post them sometime. I'm kinda proud of Mira.
wow, this is getting long... okay, a few more facts!
I moved here in February, and am stubbornly hating everything about it here.
My birthday is May third.
My dad is a truck driver.
My mom is a beekeeper (coolio, huh?)
And I hate Integrated Technology.
