I'm a young freelancer who lives in South America and is in his middle twenties. I like both CG and traditional art, but I'm currently saving my CG for work and doing my comics in traditional.
I came to DrunkDuck in early 2004, at first as a reader and later that year as an author when I started my comic Locoma (now "Locoma the archive" ).
I enjoy drawing since I was a little kid. As a reader I like non conventional material. That's why I love the webcomic world, with such variety.
Painting backgrounds with a latex mask
This is how I use latex mask to paint backgrounds separately. Looks complicated but is really satisfactory and easier to paint. I plan to show how I create the mask in future videos
How I use watercolors
This is basically the way I do my Locoma pages (the ones in watercolor). First I draw the structures in Col-Erase pencil, then I pencil it, and lastly I paint it using watercolors. I usually use 2 pots of water, one with Distilled water, the other to clean the pencil, and I usually use more than 1 pencil (3 or 4 of different sizes and shapes
Goodness, didn't I comment on this vid? (American Idol one) It's amazing! I'm a fan of Christofer Walker myself and this guy immitates him wonderfully. The video doesn't seem to be available anymore though
That's one really to-the-point video. I was a little surprised to see only the men pulled the triggers, but upon the punchline, I was amazed. Well thought of
