Well, first off, I am Nako. I live in the Philippines. I'm currently 18 years old and I'm (hopefully) gonna be in 2nd year college when school resumes.
I started drawing comics when I was in 4th year high school, but my ideas go way back in grade school. I wanted to write stories, but I often ran out of words and so my interest shifted to the more visual medium of comics.
At first, I made a site of my own, but since not many people visit it, I turned to webcomic hosting sites. My comic, Half-Half is posted in 4 sites: DeviantART, MyOtaku, Smack Jeeves, and DrunkDuck. MyOtaku has the most recent pages.
I have other comics, but I don't have a scanner, so I can't really put them up yet... Watch out for Hyaku-Trigger and Amaranth. =^_^=
Where did I get the name Nako? Well, in my school, there's this anime and manga lovers' organization. I applied for it (and failed, since I don't work as hard as I should...), and since there's already someone named Hanna (but actually my name is Hannah), I decided to change my nickname. Nako comes from Hana, which is how my name is spelled in Romaji, and neko, which means cat.
Random stuff about me:
- I like zombies... I don't know why...
- I daydream more than I draw...
- I can't stick to one idea for long...
- I can't draw fanart and decent buildings/vehicles/other mechanical stuff even if my life depended on it...

To answer your question, I lived in Nagoya in Aichi-ken, it's about two hours East of Osaka. I lived there while attending Nanzan University as an exchange student.
