I'm a Cancer w/a Scorpio/Sag. moon and Aries rising. What else do you need to know?
I've been a fashion designer and illustrator in NYC for....forever, and I'm getting really bored. The thing that's frustrating about fashion design is you can create a great design but by the time it goes through the sample making, production and sales process it gets so watered down, it kinda knocks out your enthusiasm. What I love about comics is it's ALL you! You get to decide how the finished product looks. And I love writing..obviously, since I can't seem to shut up here.Normally when I paint or illustrate I like really rich colors but I've recently become fascinated with Manga and the whole B/W world.
About a year ago my brother made me watch a Bleach marathon on cartoon network. It was like having crack injected directly into my veins!! I was more than hooked I became obsessed! And here we are today.
Favorite Anime...Bleach, Death Note, Saumrai X & Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Champloo, Trinity Blood, Wolf's Rain, A Place promised in Our Early days & Karas.
Favorite Manga...Bleach, Saiyuki, Death Note. Just started Zombie Loan and Black God.
My other obsession is J-Rock. And it came just in time, 'cos really, music in america is at a very said, over processed state.
My Favs are L'Arc~en~ciel, D'espairs Ray, Alice Nine, Miyavi, Girugamesh, Orange Range & Home Made Kazoku.
Hey. Im just here to say, thanks for adding me as a friend and recomending my comics! I'm very very grateful. Hehe. And youre right, Bleach rocks! As does death note and J-rock. I so far have met few people who like J-rock so its good to find someone who shares my love for this type of music. I like Orange Range mostly because of asterisk in Bleach. I like Home made also for the closing, Thank you and also Nagareboshi from Naruto shippuden. I also like bands like Asian Kung Fu Generation, FLOW, UVERworld... you know, stuff like that. Anyway it was nice meetin' ya! ...sort of...
