Thanks for the praise on the Star Wars part of the strip. As for the football stuff... basically, the Patriots just lost the championship (Super Bowl) after having a perfect season, and they lost it to the Giants: a team that almost didn't make the playoffs. That should sum it up.
That is definitely a strange (yet funny) double standard that Panda has... though I think he might be appalled at the idea of killing blind people. Who knows?
