Megan Rose has been doing webcomics for the past five years, getting (hopefully) better and better at it. Besides "I Was Kidnapped By Lesbian Pirates From Outer Space!!!" she also does another webcomic, the lesbian favorite YU+ME: dream, located at http://yume-comic.com. It is currently going through a massive story twist.
Megan cut back on her day job recently so she could focus more on comics! So she gets to sleep in, spend most of the day doing comics in her underwear, then gets dressed for a bit so she can go to her "real" job for a few hours, comes back and does more comics. She is quite happy doing this.
One of her goals is to be a popular comic artist. Well, that is the goal of everyone here. But the reason she wants to be popular is to show the comic industry that lesbian storylines are popular, so maybe they'll do more of them. There's a definite shortage of well-written, positive, main character lesbians out there.
