I live in N Scotland & I work full time, I travel a lot in the UK and India due to my work for a major telecoms firm where I am a technical project manager.
Last time I drew anything was in school and since I am now 35 that is a long time ago! I did create my avatar using Bryce 5, it was originally a wallpaper for my desktop and I have just resized it, it is the only graphic thingy I have created on my puter. Not really avatar material however I am using it :-)
I take my hat off (well Guinness baseball cap) to all you writers & artists out there, I do not know how you do it however I am determined to try and learn. I am so determined in fact I have already bought a Wacom Intuos3 A5 Tablet which I have noticed on FAQs to be very popular, I know, a lot of money for someone who has never drawn anything, still it gives me incentive.
