Yup, I'm not that far from the border - but even then, there aren't THAT many cases around the world. The regular old boring flu did more damage earlier this year. =p People around here shouldn't turn into piggies anyway - you know how Texans love their bacon! (except me - not a meat eater)

I love rocks and all, I just like natural disasters, more. Chasing storms and running around in volcanic eruptions, anyway. I've had a fairly boring life up till these past two years, so the more exciting my occupation, the better. I got to operate Class Four lasers today~! *hyperactive giggling*

Honestly, becoming a hunchback doesn't bother me nearly as much as it should. It sounds reall fun to me, actually. I am insane, of course, so that's not so unusual. Also, I'm not really into collecting precious stones. I'm into VOLCANOLOGY! That's right. Volcanoes. Exploding mountains. When other people run AWAY from the eruptions, I'll be running TOWARDS them!

Oh, it's so much fun, though! The life of a Geologist is so entertaining. Yesterday I went on a field trip, and the thing about Geo field trips is that they are never easy. You almost die in several ways each time. From fatigue, dehydration, and best of all: "See that narrow, steep trail along the edge of the mountain cliff which is better suited for mountain goats? Climb that, and tell me what rocks those are." One of my jobs is awesome, too. I've just been hired to be a Geology lab assistant. I get to work with high-powered lasers and radioactive chemicals! :D AND MY BOSS IS FROM TRANSYLVANIA! Maybe I'll be horribly mutated and end up looking like Igor, Frankenstein's Quasimoto-like assistant.

Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for the concern! I've just been uber busy is all. Two jobs, plus classes, plus homework, plus extracurricular activities and hanging out with friends and family. Little time to myself, and when I have time, I'm too tired to do anything. I started the next page, but it's far from finished. When Spring Break rolls around, I'll be able to do a few more pages, methinks.

Yush! Well... It was pretty cool, except for being stuck constantly with mah familia. (Excuse me, since I'm half Mexican I do sometimes throw in random words in Spanish because I am crazy.) See, it was haunted. Not the creepy Grudge-like haunted, but... Well, basically, the first night I really badly wanted something to happen, but nothing did. I did keep hearing people in the hallway though. They coughed and argued and talked loudly outside our door and I thought that we had the most annoying neighbors. >.< Wellll, the next day I eavesdropped on the people at the front desk, and they said that no one but us and one other old couple were on that floor. And the old couple was all the way on the other end of the hall... Yeah. It's safe to say I kept hearing such things the entire week. Also, we got plenty of creepy orb pictures, but I selected four from hundreds because in those ones it's obvious it isn't dust or a bokeh.

Yeah. Well, I'll see how it all turns out. My luck is completely horrible... At least since three months ago. And it has only been going downhill. x.x;

I would like to get some commissions, but I dunno how to go about advertising myself online. That's why I was asking for help.

Yeaaah, I would... Except that since there are two of them (the male and the female, and the female is the bigger one XD), they could easily double-team me. Yeeeah, I'm not very skilled. Plus, as I said, black widows are very venomous and they WILL put me in the ER if they bite me. My main concern is that they'll have babies that will infest my room. But otherwise they are cute and I like them there. XD Makes me feel like a Spider Queen with minions.

Speaking of supposedly-scary things... I now have two new friends living up in the corner of my ceiling over my laptop and desk/scanner--two black widows! I just noticed them while reading Scorch. I wonder how long they've been there. :0 I'm not afraid of spiders like most people, but these ones would put me in the hospital if they bit me. Sooo I'll just hope they like me as much as I like them and have been there watching me enough to know I am nice and don't kill things. XD

PSH, TAPS go? -I- want to go! I want to go to all of those places and get chased by ghosts! I'm staying in a haunted hotel this Christmas for a week that lets you do ghost investigation. X3 It's a big hotel in Jerome, Arizona that used to be a hospital for the mining town.
