checked out power star, here's my review (since you're obviously so concerned with my opinion):

eh, it's not that good. the story was pretty lame and not very creative. the scripting and soundtrack made it seem like it was taking itself too seriously. the music was not well selected, whenever a major fight scene started, some dark, emo crap starts up, giving the scene a lame amv feeling. the voice actor for luigi wasn't very impressive. i'm immature, and i like happy endings. this did not have a happy ending, which made me sad. i liked when he brutally murdered peach, but kill off luigi, and in my books, you've gone too far. also, why didn't bowser show up? he's a star player in the mario-verse, and could've added an extra cool element to the story. the fight scenes, while very pretty, with nice animations and some excellent choreography, as well as a few really nice shots, felt kind of repetitive, and just weren't extreme enough for my tastes.
overall, it had some moments of awesomeness, but just felt like it was trying to be darker than it should be, and just didn't really make me care about what was going on.
super mario bros z, however, while having some lame crossover elements, had a sense of style, humour, and extreme-ness that, in my opinion, exceeds power star. it also has a style of storytelling that draws you in more, even if most of the scripting could use some work. it puts an extreme action anime twist on a lot of classic mario and sonic themes, and is just overall a more exciting spectacle.

Darkspine sonic to me was the most fun and cool part of the game. I loved the way he looks his hair and everything looks pretty dam cool. I also like his fighting abilities, more sonic games need that twist to it.

You and your ninjas. Well I always try my best to look as appealing to me as the audience y'kno. Like if I create a character which doesn't cool then, well he wont be featured in the comic. Personally I think you can become a better comic maker then me. And I'm actually serious about that. Because you kinda remind me of me when I started to post my first comic on drunkduck (Bolt the hedgehog). At first he was a recolour, but then I made his quills longer so he would stand out. So over the course of time I practiced making characters. As I remade chracters I remade my comic into something new and better, its called The Chaos Chronicles. Now people actually read it because I jsut push my limits to make myself better.

You have a cool character, who definatley needs a cooler look. I'm positive you can do it. I'm also positive in the future you will realize the same thing as me and make your character better. Your story is really cool (the whole emerald mutation thing). Now if you just go back now start to practice making edits to hair and stuff you'll be surprise with what you get. I know I was when I first did.

I have a suggestion why not write a script for your comic, so then you just refer to it to make issues. It kinda increases your chances of your comic rate of staying alive.

I have gimp too, but I haven't used it to make any comics, just avatars and backgrounds. Ya the stages are really crazy. Atleast in unleashed they finally made the perfect speed system. I bet if they worked harder on the werehog engine, the game would of came out much better. Sega really needs to step it up!

For now what keeps me busy is my digimon world dawn game for DS. Amazingly fun rpg, really addicting and nice graphics.

In Sonic and the black knight, sonic stays normal right, but then is covered in golden armour. It looks really wicked, thats the main reason why I want the game.

Your honestly taking that one comic a bit too seriously, it is kind off a harsh way to critique but there is some valuable information in it. Like the part of changing his look a bit (thats what most ppl have been telling you since the start including me).

Its an alright custom sprite, I will not vote. You just gotta polish up the shading so it looks more natural =D

We all used to make recolours but its how you improve on your comic that matters. I used to have bad comic skills (I probably still do), but it's those little things that you improve on which will make you better. Don't start making dozens of comics randomly. Make sure you have an idea of what its going to be about, then make it. Making a comic and not knowing what its future will be isnt the best idea. Yea nice new page and avy

It takes a while to make sprite sheets, but if you're really commited to your comic its best you do it. Like with a sheet it makes things easier. Just in your spare time start making poses its not THAT hard. Even I make sheets for my character's I mean its only essential. You'll end up doing more work having to recoulour each time u paste a sprite and then edit it, its better to just make a sheet.

I really like the tenkachi series though the fighting system is too simple. Thats why I kinda prefer the budokai's too bad the budokai's have less specials. Y'kno the should use the Tenkachi 3 graphics in a sideways new budokai game for wii with wifi. That would be pure awesomeness.

Yipes you left me with alot of comics. Bolt the hedgehog is a dead comic. It was my very first one but wasn't too great. So I thought up some stuff, and made The Chaos Chronicles. I wanted to make a more fun comic so thats the gist of it. Except PQs so we can talk on MSN or sumthing.

Same here, its a really good game. And for you DBZ comic when you want your characters mouths look like they're opening just do a darkred line and a red line underneath it. Creates the illusion of open mouths.

Well u kno wut u shud do is. Make a black box. White on the inside. Then paste it on the part of the background you want to focus on. That way you get your basic panel size. And I know you hate me saying this but, you gotta use captital letters. Let people know you mean business. If you want I can also make some Paint tutorials too.

I also talk to ppl through PM. The thing is reason why ppl don't talk to us yet is cause they haven't added us as a friend back. Like you can add someone but they must add you back b4 they can post a comment i think.

I know. Takes me long cause they are custom sprites so I have to make the poses. Then from there i have to get a background template for the comic. After thats done I actually start. But yeah nice mario comic.
