I grew up a big fan of old style serial comics like Dick Tracy and Terry and the Pirates but I also liked humor strips like Peanuts and Garfield.So from those two worlds was born Rumf Adventures!
Rumf first started out as a comic book, but after struggling to get out four issues-- I was dropped by my distributor. I then tried the syndicates. That went nowhere. Adventure serial comic strips being, as it turns out, no longer in vogue. Years later, I discovered the internet and a great avenue for my comic.
Sure. I'm not making any money on this but the thing is, I don't care. I want to show people(syndicates), that there is still an audience for serial adventure comics strips And I'm finding them, a little at time... every day.
